We’ve made over 150 different types of pie since we started (which must be a world record?) plus some extra special ones along the way too – from our Brexit Bake Off ‘In’ versus ‘Out’ pies to our special Shepherds Pie for Keith Richards at Glastonbury.
We’ve been at every Glastonbury festival since 2002 and this year had 3 stands there and hand-mashed over 3 tons of fresh mash potato on site! Come and say hello and enjoy a pie if you’re lucky enough to get tickets next year.
how it all began...
We started out on a market stall in Old Spitalfields Market but word soon spread and we got so popular we had to move to larger premises nearby.
Since then our lovely pies have been sold in some amazing places. Our philosophy has remained the same since day one – always use the very best, fresh ingredients available and work with bakers who know what they’re doing and care about the results. Basically, don’t cut corners.
We now focus all our efforts on selling our amazing pies in supermarkets up and down the country as well as to many wholesale customers. Which is why the business was Acquired by Beat Foods Ltd in Feb 2018, Beat specialise in taking beloved brands into retail and wholesale.
